How to destroy the film in a camera both disposable and just from a non-disposable...

...camera? As above.

I was just pondering the question and could not find anything on this on the internet, maybe I'm not articulating it the way google would be able to understand. I'm always told if the disposable film on the canister is exposed to the light it will be damaged, but then how do you even get the film out?

Thanks,

Me.
