how can i unlock my phone. i forgot my unlock code and now i cant unlkock it

wat do i do? yea i forgot my unlocking code and i dnt know what to do. i try to guss my code but i have to wate every time i get it wrong. now i have to wate 5 min with sumthing sec. can i format my phone.?
