How can I tell if my DVD player plays Region 2 - PAL 2 dvds?

I live in NYC and theres a DVD on ebay im interested in bidding on but it says that its a Region 2/PAL 2 DVD and to make sure that my dvd player can play it first... How do I check if it can? I have a Toshiba SD-V295 DVD Video Player/Video Cassette Recorder, don't know if that helps any...
WHOOPS.... I meant to write PAL Region 2, NOT Region 2/PAL 2, sorry about that!
