Can you use the Thrustmaster wii classic controller with SSBB?

I noticed the thrustmaster and I thought it would be great to use with ssbb. I liked using the gc controller, but the octagon around the joysticks seams to make things harder. I thought that with a wireless controller and a normal circle for the joystick would be great. I want to know if the thrustmaster wii classic controller will work with ssbb before I buy 1. Can anyone help me?
