Thread: LD network connection fee (Bell Canada)?

Bell Canada is my Telephone Serivce provider but I do not use them for long distance calling. Instead I use Looney Call.

On some months, a charge appears on my bill, "LD network connection fee $2.95". Why does Bell charge me $2.95, when I use Loooney Call?
I have the answer! It is because I made a long distance call without first connecting to Looney Call. You are charged each month 2.95 (maximum) when you use Bell canada for long distance calling.
