I want to buy an unlocked LG phone for cincinnati bell?

i wanted to buy an Lg phone from ebay but i have cincinnati bell, it is unlocked however it says something about GSM, is cincinnati bell a GSM provider; how do i approach getting a new phone with cinncinnati bell, this phone also needs to have a qwerty key pad; not a smart phone like a blackberry
