The door bell keeps ringing a 'ding dong'.... it has done it about 8 times now. no one is outside in the front nor the back...

the contact on the button is stuck or corroded(or possibly water is causing contact).
Suggest :
1 use a can of compressed air to blow out anything causing the contact to stick.
2 Turn the power off to the buzzer, then disconnect it and look to see if it is dirty or broken. if so replace it then turn the power back on
