Will my old Nextel sim(before Sprint bought Nextel) work in the Blackberry 8703e?

I currently have an old phone and sim from Nextel, then Nextel was bought by Sprint. I want a new phone, like the Blackberry 8703e, and I was wondering if my sim will work in the blackberry if I buy it off ebay. Thank you so much for your help!
