    Will 26 X 2.5 Tires (& 2.2 - 2.5 tubes) fit on a bike rim that currently...

    ...houses 26 X 2.2 Tires? this is for a mountain bike with specialized knobby tires switchin to maxis hookworms....

    Yes. Sorry for the lack of detail, but as long as the tire is a 26, just about anything will fit width-wise that is available. The size difference between the new tire and what you have is minimal, so don't worry about it. Oh, and the tubes are fine too.
