How does the internet work on the Blackberry curve. Do you need a wireless connection nearby or do you not need any connection at all???

If I remember correctly the Curve is just the Pearl w/o Suretype, but a full keyboard.
If that's the case there is no WiFi. All the data connection is handled by cellular data transfers, either GPRS or EDGE connections.
