Thread: What size rim do I need?

My tires are 215/50/16. I need a rim, what size width?

I know 16 is the diameter. I am looking at rim sizes, and I see 16x6, 16x7, 16x7.5. I just want to know what is best for that tire size above of 215/50/16
I am buying a 5th rim, the doughnut is used up from previous owner, so no it is not the 4th rim.

I jsut want a rim I know will work with a tire size 215/50/16. I know I need to match the bolt pattern and will more than likely have to buy a rim specifically for a cougar, jsut want to know the widths that work. 7.5 inch seems to be the consensus

16 inch rims mate. the 215 is the width in mm, the 50 is the profile and the 16 is the rim diameter in inches.
