What does this symbol on my Blackberry Pearl 8100 mean?

When I make a call, a symbol comes up next to the volume indicator on the right top of the screen. It looks like a box with a diagonal line from top left to bottom right. The "bottom" of the box is blue and the "top" is black. The symbol is not in my manual. Anyone know what this is? Thanks!

It's not the one with the red arrows that go back and forth. This is a black and blue box...

It means that Data is being send and received.
You will see this happen when your about to receive/send a Text messege and receive/make a call.. etc.
Its just shows that your Radio Antenna is working.

It has nothing to do with the radio. This is an indication of Audio Enhancement. While making a call, open the menu by pressing the button to the left of the track ball. Select Audio Enhancement and change to normal. You can even read the book on the phone if you want to get creative
