it. Is there any way around this? I'm with Verizon and just bought a Blackberry Curve. I've been told for the longest that you can use the phone as a modem for internet access on a laptop. I figured out how to do it and was happy. My next bill included an additional charge. I called and they told me they charged me because I was using the handset for "broadband" access. On my laptop it says I'm using it as a "dial-up" modem. Is there any way around these charges, so that I can keep using my phone for laptop internet, minus the fee?
