Thread: Use a Blackberry Pearl on Helio?

I've been wanting to switch to Helio for a long time. Their service looks is such a good deal considering all you get. But I don't like their phones. I really want to get a Blackberry Pearl and use it on their network. Will I be able to unlock a Pearl and use it with the features that come standard with Helio. I know the buddy beacon probably wont work but I'm more concerned about texting/pic messanging and internet use.

What is the Black Pearl model?If it supports both GSM and CDMA you can probably unlock the phone and switch over to Helio network.If the phone model is supported only for GSM networks then you can only swap to other GSM networks after unlocking.I suggest you can approach unBBlock.com to get the permanent unlock service for your phone...where they offer unlocking service for GSM models.
