If coming from Vegas, which would be the better to see - the south rim or north rim or even the west rim (I'm sure there's an east too) - I'm not familiar with out there.

touring the grand canyon....north or south rim???

Both rims are worthy of a visit (no east or west rims in that the canyon runs from east to west), but the south rim has more facilities and is easier to get to from LV, about 5 hours driving time.
