Blackberry Application Question?

Ok, so I have a Blackberry Pearl 8120 that runs on the T-mobile network. It came with some messaging applications such as AIM, MSN, Yahoo Messenger and so on. I also just recently downloaded Facebook for Blackberry. ANYWAYS, whenever I try to use the applications, I get an error message saying "Your device is not enabled for this application". I don't have an internet plan on my Blackberry, but even when I'm connected to a Wi-Fi spot it gives me the same message. Does anyone know how to configure my Blackberry so it allows me to use those applications?
