The easiest way to answer this is to ask if you're willing to use an abbreviation keyboard in order to have a smaller phone. Some people can type quickly on the abbreviated keyboard. Others, like me, prefer to have the fuller QWERTY keyboard (at the price of device size). Also, screen sizes are different (slightly taller, but narrower).
