Numbness and tingling after eating blackberries?

Okay, I just ate a bunch of blackberries, which happen to be my favorite fruit, and shortly after my lips and most of my tongue started tingling and feeling slightly numb. I decided to take some Claritin to help with my seasonal allergies, and the moment the cold water touched my mouth/tongue, the numbness/tingling was intensified BIG TIME! Even putting the cold cup against my lips makes them tingle more.

I've been eating blackberries my whole life... if I'm developing an allergy to them, I'm gonna cry.
