I want to paint my center caps on my rims. How do i do it?

I want to take my center caps off and paint them black or red. Could i do this with spray paint? I mean take some ammonia rub it on there to get everything off of it and then put a few coats of paint on it?

I would put a coat of primer, (grey or brown) prior to painting. Yes you can spray paint them, just coat them evenly and let dry completely before adding another coat. To ensure they don't peel, or crack and chip coat them with clear coat.
    Good Luck!
