i bought a used blackberry from ebay & the dummy left all his info on it so i need to get rid of it with the master reset thing.

turn off the phone.
Pop out the back plate that covers the battery. Pull out the battery. There should be a sticker under there with the model number of the phone.
Should be instructions with the download to make the software work.

A description would help -
Does it have a marble or trackball?
What Color is the Phone?
Who is the service with?

Finally just take out the battery - it has the model # right under the battery. If that's removed, do an image search for Blackberry phone until you see a picture of it.

Use the trackball to scroll to and select the "Options" icon.


Press the trackball to select the "About" option.


Look at the top of the "About" screen. You will see the model number for your BlackBerry Curve displayed.
