I have friends that can change the color of their track ball on their Pearls! How do I do this? They said they just found something and downloaded it off the internet, but where...?

K I tried downloading the stuff from this link http://www.geekandproud.net/blackberry-software/ but it doesn't work. I download it, but it only opens up a document with weird symbols and letters. Tips on how to make it work would help!
