Thread: Help please! RIM Blackberry 7290 Cell Phone?

I just purchased an unlocked T-Mobile 7290 Blackberry, and when inserting my SIM card, it was able to read the data, however would not allow incoming or outgoing calls. Will someone please give me suggestions on what I need to do in order to get the phone to allow calls. Under the settings for calls the status indicated "no coverage". Any ideas out there???

Sounds like a service problem, not a phone problem. I would call the service provider. Unless check the Icon that turns the Radio ON/OFF. Maybe that is what the problem is. Check that out. If the Radio is off, turn it back on. If you still cant make calls, call TMobile. Maybe the missed something when setting you up.
