    double rim question!?

    if i practice on a double rim hoop instead of a single rim, is it true my shot will get better?

    no
    double rims just make the rebound go away more often.
    you'll actually get somewhat worse because you won't be making the crayz-go-nuts bounce around shots

    Actually a good question. I grew up on playground double rimmed chain hoops w/ metal backboards. Quite a bit of difference than playing normal regulation. The ball is effected in many ways when bouncing off the backboard to trying to go thru the rim. You do have to rebound more for reasons the ball coming back out more, the backboard not the mention the ball difference. Your true shot will get better cuz it has to be almost right on whether banking our outside shots. One thing i learned more than anything is the english you have to put on the ball kinda like Tim Duncan using the backboard like he does. I'll never forget those times though..Nothing like 1/2 court double-rimmed chain baskets. Tough games. lol old school, kinda ghetto playground ball which toughens anyone... that's my story & I'm stickin to it.. lol
