Thread: Cingular/ AT&T Blackberry Curve

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, my friend has a AT&T/Cingular Blackberry Curve and it isn't working properly. I tried calling her and her screen worked (like it showed I was calling) but her keys wouldn't letter her answer it. We were in the pool and her phone was out there but she really doesn't think that, that is the reason. The only keys that don't work are the back button and some other keys.

Now currently she took apart her phone and found her Sim Card has had a little chip on it. Is the Sim Card supposed to be like that? What other things could we do?

Please do not suggest calling the store or anything. Thanks for your help!

the sim card is not going to affect the keys. If it was hot or humid by the pool then most likely her phone has some serious water damage & will need to be replaced.

yea if shed lefnit by the pool then if we didn't droped it in then should b ok and yea the sims card is just a small chip . there's away that they ca see if ur phone is decked or nota white sticker on he back underrthe battery if yhe sticker is whit hen se should be ok and can claim it as manufacture default or bring it to the store and see wha the guys can do for you there
