Thread: can you get rims bent back,?

their exel 17s lil bit bent from curbs and city potholes ( bmore stand up)

and i want to get them bent back but i heard you can only get certain kinds bent back to normal, ish

If they are steel rims you can get them bent back to a close specification but other then steel rims you cannot.

The main thing as mentioned is the metal and the casting process for the rims. You have quite a few different metal types which can be bent back into the correct position. Generally if your rim bent and didn't crack it should be able to be bent back into shape by a professional. It is fairly cheap too when you consider how much you paid for the rims.

If they're not too severely bent, they can be fixed. There ARE people who can do it. Bending is a common problem with those large diameter rims.
