Thread: can you change the texting tone on a blackberry curve?

I just got a blackberry curve, and I don't see anywhere to change the tone for when you get a text. My instructions don't say anything about it.

Go into your settings then tones and then scroll down to were it says msg tones and then change it there good luck hope this helps

I have the Blackberry Pearl and I think its the same...
If you go to your profiles, then click advanced you should come up with a screen which gives you the different profiles. Click on the one you use all the time (mine is "normal"). Then it will give you another list with browser, calender etc. Scroll down to SMS (one from the bottom) click on it and if you push your scroller wheel on Tune, it'll give you a list of different tunes.
