Can I talk anywhere in the world with my Blackberry Bold with no extra charge?

I know it's a world phone. But about 3 years ago I had to get some sort of international plan(not with a BB) when I went overseas. I'm going on a trip on Christmas and was wondering if I don't need to get any kind of extra features on my plan for the trip, and will I still be able to use the internet on my phone.
