I have the 31's mounted on 15x8 right now, and they look great, but I was thinking about going to a 15x7 to get a little more height out of the tire, and to help protect the edge of the rim when I off road. Would that be okay, or is 7" pushing it?

Can I mount 31x10.5x15 tires on 7" diamtere rims?

well smaller would make the side wall of tire stick out giving you more of a chance of messing up side wall i wouldnt you want more height get a bigger tire would be smarter
