Blackberry Pearl 8100 LED indicator light?

Ok so my blackberry pearl has this red LED indicator light on all the time! I've tried to go to settings and turned off the coverage indicator but it still is just red. ive tried to go to messaging options and ive turned off everything that says LED indicator but its STILL RED!!! any help?!?
