Thread: BlackBerry Curve questions...?

I have the Env right now and I'm getting the BlackBerry Curve tomorrow. Some people are telling me I need to pay extra each month for the BlackBerry? Can I just carry over the plan I have on my Env now? I'm on my mom's bill right now and for my phone it costs .97 and I really don't want to pay more! I know you can pay more for the internet, but can I still get my e-mails and go on AIM and Yahoo Messenger? Boy, phones get so complicated, hahah

I have At&T and my mom makes no extra charges for it. There are like 5 or 6 phones on our plan, we have unlimited texting, internet, and its all $30.

its according what carrier you use. With blackberrys you have to purchase a personal blackberry data plan, with AT&T its 29.99, with Cellular South its 29.99, but for all other carriers, I'm not sure. Call and ask before you purchase it.

emails and internet browser count as part of the data plan which is an extra per month.
