when i want to send a text message, i type the name of the person on the keypad and it usually comes up. the past 2 days it wont let me. the message, "input system error. the system is being restarted" comes up.

how can i make this message stop appearing and have my phone allow me to type a name without the message? my phone is relatively knew i got it about a month ago.
