Basically my brother (who has a curve 8300) had a little icon in his apps that let him upgrade his Blackberry Messenger for free to the 5.0 version.

I've got a pearl 8110, and for some reason I can't find the Icon. I've updated all my software via the desktop manager, but still don't see the icon. RIM is impossible to contact, so can someone help me out?
