Battery Cover on the blackberry?

I have this blackberry. And I'm trying to simple REMOVE THE BATTERY COVER. But, I push the silver tab in, and lift, but I'm scared I'm gonna break it. Any tricks to getting this cover off?

(I feel so stupid right now...xD)
