    Any good ways to cleas alluminum rims?

    I have a 1989 chevy silverado with stock alluminum rims. They have alittle corrosion starting on them and i was woundering if there was anyway to get them very clean and possible remove some of the corrosion. Thanks for your help.

    they make a compound that you can use on them that will help to buff them down,but it wont remove all the pits in them,they will look better though,ask at any parts store and they can help you with this,i have wet sanded some of those down and polished them out with rubbing compound,and it makes them look like chrome,but its a lot of work,good luck.

    aluminum buffing compound will work use a drill and buffing pad or a buffer.
