    will disconnecting the battery for 2hrs really bypass the anti theft device on my...

    ...2000 dodge neon? I replaced the ignition in it & now it wont start. I thought the 1st ignition was broken so I bought another one but I heard that disconnecting the battery will reset it, is it true?
