IT was having serious problems for like a year, and a few weeks ago i dropped almost 500 bucks to have the fuel pump changed. Then, two days later it broke again. So, i bought a new battery and alternator dropping again, almost 500 bucks. Now, it's screwed up again. The other day I was leaving my house and it started jolting back and forth when it was stopped or going slow. Once I had my speed up it drove okay. You could also hear the engine going "vroom vroom" Also, the brake wouldn't go down very far so I had to press on it significantly harder then I should have for it to even slow down. I haven't driven it because I know if the brakes are acting like that I will end up rear ending someone. Please help!!! I can't keep dishing out money for this!!! (btw i checked the brake fluid and it's fine)

Sounds like you have a MAJOR vacuum leak. I would have the vacuum line going to the brake booster checked to see if it is even attached. If this is the case, re attaching it will improve the cars performance and solve your braking problems instantly.

Sounds like maybe the vacuum hose for the brake booster is cracked or broken or something. Where the brake fluid is, in behind the reservoir there is the brake booster (large round metal canister). check the hose leading from it to the engine for any damage. Good Luck!
