How much should I pay for 1986 Chevy Nova?

It's a 1986 Chevy Nova, he's parked it outside of his house for a year at least. Has around 100,000 miles on it, and needs new battery and maybe some little engine work. He's asking for 0 but that seems high for me. Is it just me? I think 5 would be good. Am I wrong?

Unless he's listed it as OBO, he wants $400 for it. That's what it's worth to him. You could always go elsewhere.

Depends on how much engine work is needed. This is a Toyota Corolla with Chevy badges, so if you get it fixed and running, it will last for many years. BUY it if the body is in good shape.

I owned one of these for many years, and am still kicking myself for letting it go.
