Ford Fiesta cuts out when I come to a stand still?

    Hi Folks,

My Ford Fiesta 1.3 P reg is cutting out when it comes to a stand still. The clutch, gearbox and engine work perfectly but when I come to a stand still it cuts out. It always starts off the ignition and will tick over, even from cold, when it's started and sat in a stationary position.

Could it be a fuel thing or a vacume valve or something?

    Any suggestions would be great.

    Cheers,

    Maccers
It's an injection by the way and did have an air idle control valve fitted but made no difference. Bit of a weird one. Car is only worth a couple of hundred so could end up with bigger garage bill than it's worth. thanks folks!
