How does one shut off, bypass or disable the security system on a 2000 Saturn SL2 w/

manual tranny?
I coasted w/ the engine off, trany in neutral and the key in acc so the steering wouldn't lock for the last 300 feet to my mail box. Went to restart after checking my mail but it dinged a few times and flashed "security" on the dash. Therefore I think the dang thing thought I was stealing the car and has disabled the start/run mode. Had the wife push me and I tried to bump start it but that didn't work either. I've disconnected/reconnected the battery, switched keys w/ the wife, checked all fuses. Hate to think about driving my truck (3/4 ton with a 460 engine) till I get it in to the dealer for repairs if I can fix it this weekend. Just getting used to that 37 mpg!!
