I was pulling up to a stop light after I left my boyfriends house and i put in the breaks on my car, i slowed down all the way up to the line when all of a sudden my car started rolling forward. I tried pumping my breaks but it didnt work. I had to shove my car into park and turn it off, because even in park it was still rolling, HOW CAN THIS BE? I was so scared because the train tracks were right in front of me and i needed to stop my car. But after I turned it off it finally stopped and the breaks were working again.

Im really scared, please help.

2 Inspect Master Cylinder (For Brake System) Air in Brake Lines.
3 Inspect Master Cylinder (For Brake System) Faulty Brake Master Cylinder.

probaly got a leak in ur master cylinder.have it towed to a mechanic,and if u threw it in park and it was still rolling forward,then u got a tranny problem also,but i dont see how ur problems r interconnected.but take it to a mechanic with reputable results.and tell them in deatil what is going on.or the another problem could be the brake booster not working properly or has a leak in the hose going to the manifold.
