looking for location of crankshaft sensor on Dodge Ram 150 pickup 1992

There is none installed on the engine. Diagnostic equipment used to set timing had one. Look at your harmonic balancer and note the notch cut through at one point. Also note a small tube affixed to the timing cover pointing at the balancer. A (crankshaft) sensor was inserted into the tube when setting the timing.
