Thread: How much would it cost to fix my Chevy Camaro?

I have, well its my dads but he says if I can fix it I can have it. It is a 1969-1964 camaro. I don't know what year it was made. It's an ss camaro. How much would it cost to
1)have the car painted completely, or just the one side it is missing the white colot

2) the engine

3) transmission (maybe, it might still work)
and also to fix the brakes

depends on what you want to do to it? To get it running could be $2000 maybe. A good quality paint job $6000? Better to find out what condition it's in and sell it! What year is it exactly? This would be good info as some years are very desirable. Those cars have brought a pretty penny in the past. Not so much now as the economy sucks but they are a desirable vehicle.
