What is the best smaller sized SUV? Any answer that aren't these three are good too, these are just my current top three.

The three choice you have picked are good, but pricey. I would recommend a kia sportage. Over a peripod of time (mainly in the 2000's) kia has majorly improved. They are reliable and there quality is great. My family owns a 2004.5 kia spectra and it runs great with over 90,000 miles on it. No repairs made yet. Just basic maintenance (oil changes.)
