Fuel pump mite be out? 2001 gmc sierra 1500 4.3 help?

Ok I have a 2001 gmc sierra 1500 4.3 v6 5 speed. The other day I was driving and the truck stopped running. After which it wouldn't start again. Now it will run if I get started fluid and spray it into the throttle body. I think its the pump. I did a presser test and it only shows 20 psi of fuel pressure. its should be at 60 to 66 psi. what do you think

also I have checked pretty much everything else going from the fuel tank to the engine and all engine part. The fuel pump is the only thing I can see wrong. Shouldn't the engine give some sine of starting with 20psi?

you're answer is that you know yourself it's the fuel pump.yes it should have 60 psi,if it's only showing 20 it's definitley fuel related, replace the fuel filter first, then if that doesn't do it(which i doubt it will)replace the fuel pump.those trucks were notorious for that.
