Family Guy "cool wHip" scene vs Hot Rod "wHiskey" scene... Who copied who?

In the movie Hot Rod (2007), Andy Samburg's character Rod tells his younger step-brother Kevin that the safety word for their speed management training will be "whiskey", placing heavy emphasis on the H sound. They have a short big of dialog regarding Rod's speech during which Rod continues to over-emphasis the H's.

In Family Guy, in the episode where Meg was in love with Brian. Meg had baked a pie with her hair as an ingredient and given it to Brian. When Stewie enters, he asks for a slice and then asks for some cool whip, also placing a heavy emphasis on the "H". They discuss it for a few lines of dialog, very similar to the scene in Hot Rod.

My question is who copied who and was it intentional??

Hot Rod (2007) copied the Family Guy episode that aired December, 2006.

movies are written way before they are filmed, so who really knows. Chances are that the original draft script for hot rod was finished before that episode of family guy was. but they easily could have added that joke in later on....

Due to the simple fact that family guy put it out to the public first, Hot rod should have just removed it from the script.... Family guy and Hot rod have very similar demographics and I would think that many people would immediately remember the family guy episode when they watch hot rod, I know I did.

just found these two postings on the net:

The wHiskey joke actually comes from something Andy and the dude that played Richardson came up with when they were in college. They got the idea from a skit on one of Gang Starr's album and just started saying everything with the emphasized H sound...

The script for Hot Rod has been written for years, before Will Ferrell was even a star. It was not derative of any indie film that no one ever saw. The wHisky joke was also shot and completed during the summer of last year. That Family Guy episode did not air until late fall 2006. So who knows how that happened, but it was not a rip-off. This movie is truly funny, very underrated, intelligent, and completely misunderstood. Go see it again, think "Wet Hot American Summer" instead of "SNL/Will Ferrell" and see if you get a different experience. The movie is fab.
