My wife said that the car was stalling when she was going past 30mph, the car was cold. I, then, took it to try it, the engine light was on, but nothing happened.
What can it be?

With out us scanning the cars computer, it is impossible to say why the light is on.
When this light comes on, it means the cars computer has detected something from the norm. Take it in and have it scanned.

o2 sensor or fuel cap is loose.
