The Concorde was built by Chrysler from 1993 to 2004. It was their full-size family car. The high-end versions are the LX and LXI. The versions from 93-95 had some transmission problems which were covered under warranty. The better 1st generation ones were built from 96-98. The next generation Concorde 99-2004 were good and roomy. The back window was a little small for such a big car. Stay away from the versions with the 2.7L V6 engine. They tended to build up oil sludge and self-destruct if the oil wasn't changed regularly at 3,000 or less miles. A 98-2004 Concorde with a 3.2L or 3.5L engine is good and reliable, good snow traction, decent gas mileage for its size, and provided the owner took care of it a good used car. Many of them had the 7yr/70,000 mile powertrain warranty.
