    boat question about a 350 chevy omc it fired up the boatt up with know...

    ...problems.However the next morning i? i have a 350 chevy omc i fired the boat up the night before with no problems. However the next morning it just made a clicking noise,i had the batteries checked out and they were fine.hoping to hear from someone that it is the solienod because i would have to pull the motor to get to the starter . Need some advice! TY Tom

    Get a battery brush and remove the battery terminals and clean them and the battery posts till they shine.
    I don't know how you checked the batteries but they must have 13+ volts or they are not charged.

    you can turn the starter motor over with a jumper to see if it works (bypassing the solenoid).
    OR it may just be loose or corrodod battery cables--try spraying the ends of the cables with a good dose of WD40 and see if things get better.
