NO! You are not alone. This seems to be the norm for Verizon. In my state, Verizon has sort of a monopoly, so there is no alternative. It takes weeks for service person to show up. The service guy that came to our house said that Verizon has eliminated so many positions and what men/women are left are so over worked and spread across too large of an area. He said he has never seen it this bad and he has about 30 years in with the phone company.
I talk to people regularly that are sick of Verizon and how horrible customer service is. ....they will leave you without a phone for a week.
In fact, things have gotten so bad in WV that the public utility service administration is looking into poor service from Verizon. I hope all states served by Verizon does the same and something is done with this company. the company is trying to push profits up and treating the employees horrible..they work 12 hour shift or longer....and most importantly..Verizon is simply not interested in customer satisfaction...they have a monopoly in most places.
