That said, if you read the Newsbusters story, you see Sheppard trying to expand a focused set of data into a broad counterargument for the decades of global studies on global warming. He even gives himself away by emphasizing Frenzen's quote: "the crater’s architecture is perfect for nurturing the glacier." You can't point out that a special circumstance is responsible for a phenomenon and then try to use that phenomenon as a basis for a sweeping assertion. Better luck next time!
